OBEDIENCE & MANNERS

Learning for Life:
Obedience & Manners

Aims to help you achieve a dog that will walk and behave in a good manner on and off the lead and under control.

What you'll learn

This course doesn’t focus on gundog-specific training but is designed to teach your dog essential life skills that will help them thrive in exciting and distracting environments. It’s the perfect progression from a Puppy Course, elevating your dog’s training with increased challenges and real-world application.

What You'll Learn:

  • How to navigate everyday situations as your dog matures from adolescence to adulthood
  • Practical skills to handle common behavioural challenges during juvenile and adolescent phases
  • Building stronger foundations in lead walking, recall, and impulse control
  • Encouraging focus and engagement, even with distractions
  • Fostering positive interactions with other dogs
  • Supporting good decision-making and managing frustration

Our course is taught in a fun, engaging way using food and toy-based reinforcement. You and your dog will enjoy learning together in a relaxed, outdoor setting, not in a traditional training hall. We aim to make this experience enjoyable, setting the stage for a well-behaved, confident adult dog.

Included in the course:

  • 6 week course - 1 hour sessions
  • Smaller groups - max 6 dogs per group
  • Written-based homework reminders
  • End of term Gift pack

Please Note:

  • Please note that refunds will not be given if you are no longer able to attend your booking, your female dogs come into season or they are ill during the course and you're no longer able to continue.
  • Places are not confirmed until payment has been received. If you reserve a place choosing to book via BACs but someone pays before you - unfortunately they'll get the place.

  • A session may be covered over a live Zoom session if the weather is too cold/severe in the Winter months, or  too hot in the Summer months, this is for the welfare of your dogs. You will get more from your dog inside your home than being outside too cold and wet.
