Lindsay is the founder of Paws and Play Gundogs, leading all training in the Wardlow area with a blend of practical know-how, academic grounding, and real-world results.

With thousands of puppies and adult dogs trained over the years – both in group settings and 1-1 – Lindsay brings a depth of experience that only comes from time in the field. Her approach is rooted in understanding, connection, and clarity – helping handlers and their dogs work together with purpose and confidence.

From early foundations to more advanced gundog work, Lindsay offers puppy training, gundog foundations & progression, the Gundog Club Field Test Awards, and tailored 1-1 coaching, all delivered with her signature mix of calm structure and thoughtful support.

Helen Spick, Associate Trainer

Helen leads our Gundog Puppy and Gundog Foundations training in the Sheffield area, delivering calm, confidence-building sessions for new puppy owners and aspiring gundog handlers.

Her journey began behind the scenes – observing, learning, and assisting during training sessions. With a natural feel for dogs and a thoughtful, grounded approach, Helen now runs full gundog puppy courses with fantastic results.

Clients love her patient, encouraging style and the way she brings clarity and consistency to early training – setting strong foundations for a lifelong partnership between dog and handler.
